Native Style

My style is definitely subtle and more laid back than most people working in the fashion industry... especially in the fashion capital of the world. I love following trends and making them my own with my own personal touches. If you've been following me for a while now, you'll know my sense of style is definitely on the more masculine and athletic side. I love mixing a perfectly tailored Italian manufactured suit with less expensive items like a cool athletic, crew neck sweater and some vintage inspired kicks. I've always stayed pretty true to this and always make it work no matter what the occasion.

My current trend obsession: Aztec and Native-American prints. I recently discovered Freenote - an American made menswear brand that is only a year old but definitely soon to be staple in my spring wardrobe [and should be in yours!]. A viewing of their Spring 2014 collection, which will soon be available in March, inspired this look I styled on a great guy and model, David Ortega [with Colby Models]. Speaking of American made, the denim that David is wearing is Raleigh Workshop. Another great brand that has only gotten better with a new line of denim that costs less than two-hundred dollars but definitely did not skimp on the quality and the attention to detail Raleigh Workshop is known for. I'll definitely be stuck on these brands for a while so please bare with me while I work through my addiction with the help of you all!
