Huffing and Puffing Through the Snow

Today is just one of those perfect days in NYC... to play hooky and curl up by a fireplace [also known as a radiator in this city] with a nice scotch in hand. Yes, a scotch! I somehow age by thirty years when it gets cold out. As if Mondays aren't bad enough, a winter blast has decided to boomerang back onto the East coast and is quickly coating everything in site with rain, snow, and ice. Not the best start to the week. This Diesel puff jacket saved me from this wintery mix and kept me warm and dry as I trekked around the city. Even with the dropping temps, I somehow can't get myself to throw on some socks though. My poor ankles! I'm really hoping this is the last blast of winter we'll experience but knowing Mother Nature personally, I really doubt it. She and I are in a fight... it's a long story. By the way, that's snow in my hair.
