Weekending

As another long week finally comes to an end, I can't help but be excited with just sitting still, reading a book, and enjoying the last few weekends of summer. As much as I pride myself on living by my Golden Rule, "Dress every day like you might see your worst enemy," the weekends are my cheat days where I just love to throw on a cap, some old kicks, and some jeans that aren't the snug denims that I usually rock. Don't get me wrong, you won't catch me roaming the streets looking a complete mess but you will definitely see a cap on my head or in hand. 

Thankfully for me, and more importantly for you who see me out and about, I have a good collection of some pretty bad ass caps. This guy comes from a cool collaboration from two American made brands Lumina and  Ebbets Field Flannels. I am completely obsessed with the Ebbets brand for their wide range of clothing and accessories that look like part of an athletic uniform from way back in the 20's, 30's, 40's, and 50's. Lumina teamed up with these guys to make the perfect cap that plays homage to their North Carolina based roots where all of their clothing is manufactured and produced just like the "retro rust chambray" shirt I'm wearing. 

Now for the rest of the weekend you'll catch me sitting on my stoop with my favorite iced coffee from Jacks, grabbing some beers with friends in the park, or just watching the sunset across the Hudson River with a book in hand... exactly what New Yorkers live for on the weekends!
