A few months ago, I had the privilege of going to Portland, Maine to visit the team behind a brand I've grown up with since a very young age, L.L. Bean. It was by far, one of the most amazing trips I've been on and was only a 45 minute flight from the noise and craziness that is New York City. Lobster fishing, sunset sailing, and lots of oysters and cocktails were only some of the things we got to experience that I have missed since the moment I boarded my flight back to the city. While there, we got a sneak preview of what was to come from L.L. Bean Signature's fall collection and even got to choose some of favorite pieces to take with us. As hard as it was to choose, and I of course was the very last one to finally make their decision on what to take, I definitely picked some staple pieces that will easily be rotating through my fall/winter wardrobe this and many years to come.
Sweater weather has quickly passed and we are now in full on layer weather. This red puffer vest instantly caught my eye during the preview and knew that I would love layering it on during these next couple months of frigid weather. I also grabbed a really great wool grey suit that fit me perfectly! I love layering a blazer with a cool puffer like this for a much more casual, rugged look that is easily transitioned for different occasions and weather. The thermal henley is a must and this one from L.L. Bean Signature is going to be layered under my clothes for the colder days here in the city. It's on the thicker side but still breathes so you don't feel too confined.
In all, the experience I had with the L.L. Bean team was one like I will never experience again... that is, unless they put together another trip very soon!! Thank you again to the team that hosted such an amazing 3 days and also the team at Linda Gaunt that connected me with this classic brand that I have always, and will always love! #WearLifeWell
