There's just nothing like people watching in New York City, and last week just brought out all the crazies to one block. In between shows during fashion week, I took every chance I could to just sit on the steps of Lincoln Center and watch people from all parts of the world that flock to one spot to see celebrities, models, and all the chaos that goes along with fashion week in this city. It's sometimes even better than the shows inside! Some people get all dressed up in hopes of being photographed and don't even have a ticket to even one show. These people are the most fun to watch... they fiend over photographers and in some cases, and I only knew this after watching for a bit, would recruit their friends to make a bit of a scene as they walked by in hopes of gathering the attention of enough people to take their picture and get their fix. I'm not knocking them one bit... with all the effort and skill they put into their act, you just had to give them a bit of credit.
As much fun as fashion week was, I couldn't be happier to have gotten through it and most importantly got to see some amazing menswear. Guys are definitely stepping it up, putting more effort into getting dressed, and inspiring me every season. Until next season NYFW!
