Moving Day

The big day has finally arrived... I am sadly moving out of my current neighborhood in Manhattan, Nolita, and making my way up north to the Upper West Side! As much as I am going to love this neighborhood, I'm overwhelmed with all that goes on in the UWS that I never even knew about... not to mention I am half a block from Central Park and some amazing summer sunbathing spots in the grass.

Since I am making my way out of here, I decided to dedicate this post to some of my favorite Nolita spots that I love to walk by or just find oddly funny as I make my rounds around the hood. I, of course, also had to throw on the proper moving attire as well!

This neighborhood has everything from some great nightlife including bars and restaurants, some off the wall graffiti art that seems to just get layered onto, some very, very weird "massage" shops that offer who knows what [things like this make this city what it is], and just some pretty cool scenic tree lined streets that are both old and new but either way crawling with history. I'm sure I'll be making my way back down here at some point but for now, I'll be enjoying some peace and quiet and a whole knew scene of people and places to get used to. Now the hard part.... packing, cleaning, and moving out and up!
