No but really, where the heck is spring!? New Yorkers are on pins and needles waiting for a warm, sunny day that will last longer than just one afternoon! It really is controlling my mood lately. I'm definitely in need of some vitamin D and a good day of laying out in the grass with a good book and some iced coffee... those kinda days just can't be beat!
I'm not letting these chilly days control my wardrobe though! I've committed myself to stepping it up a bit and pushing my style boundaries as of late. Really, it's the perfect time for a style refresh and to get more into the tailored game... especially when you have great brands like Hugh and Crye making it all that more affordable to get a great fitting shirt that does not need tailoring post-purchase. You can get away with wearing the same blue suit to work a couple times a week but there really isn't getting around replaying your shirt game. Invest in a few great tailored shirts so you have multiples in your shirting arsenal to get you through your week... your shirt really is the base of your entire outfit! Just make sure you toss them in the hamper after each wear and keep it moving to the next.
Before we know it we'll be complaining about the heat so until then, I'm content building my wardrobe upgrades and keeping it chill. This weeks plans consist of a few dinners and some fun car shows.
